During its first year of operation in 2024, the Foundation awarded grants to Finnish music creators and funded music projects with a total of €508,000. Measures aimed at strengthening the structures of the sector received €100,000 with the aim to increase the visibility of Finnish music creators and their works. The remaining €408,000 was directed to support the creation of new Finnish music, the career development of creators and increasing general spread of Finnish music.
In 2025, the Foundation has already granted €23,000 for the promotion of renewal and diversity in the field of music.
